I found this so boring that I actually forgot the whole existence of this film after leaving the cinema and forgot to review it.

You know this was my first time watching a Godzilla film and I actually expected to see more than 30 mins worth of Godzilla, silly me. What we actually got was a very over-the-top drama film which, I'm sorry to say isn't worth your time. Everything is so drawn out and dramatic, as well as for some reason cheesy? I really couldn't understand it. Don't even get me started on the child in this. Never in my life have I witnessed something that breaks my immersion through irritation. It just randomly bursts into full of tears with a screech of a cry that just went right through you.

Now onto actually about Godzilla, and you know what every scene he was in I really enjoyed it. It was good action and admittedly I felt like I woke up when they started. Godzilla is honestly terrifying and unstoppable. Watching him follow this tiny boat in the ocean to then suddenly absolutely demolish a warship, spooked me a little.

I think, more importantly, he looked super cool too. I don't think the CGI was that bad, but I did laugh at how tubby the poor guy looked. Watching him power up his attack though was intense, as it's a huge hyperbeam that as it's starting his spikes shoots out a bit to show it's getting close to blowing.

I'll be honest, don't remember any of the characters aside from the main one, and that is only because he would not stop being so dramatic about everything and over the top with the fact he left the war. Sure this Could have been really emotional but it came across as more annoying. I think as well, as a personal taste, I wish they fully went down the route of Godzilla possibly being imagined by this guy.

I don't really have much to say about this as it seems everything left my brain as soon as it was done. Guess it didn't want useless information. It's just really a disappointing experience. The ending was incredibly anti-climatic, though it was pretty funny to see Godzilla make a sort of "Womp" noise as he hits the bottom of the ocean. Honestly, that was the highlight of the film for me.
