Quick Summary: A punk rock band is forced to fight for survival after witnessing a murder at a neo-Nazi skinhead bar.

Sure, I like being stressed my entire viewing experience.

The beginning of this film is very slow and pretty uninteresting to the point of I almost stopped watching. When I say, keep watching, I mean keep watching because about the quarter the way in you're smacked with a rush of adrenaline that does not stop until the end of the film. There were a lot of moments when I realised I was holding my breath while watching due to how tense they were.

This is incredibly violent and extremely brutal in some moments, hopeless even. You watch as characters get beaten down (literally) no matter what they do as they try to escape a situation they end up in by simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think what makes this so terrifying is just how realistic this situation is. People can be violent and brutal just for fun, or out of fear that they're going to be found out by the authorities.

Which brings me to someone I want to mention. Patrick Stewart, who goes out of his usual role, is absolutely terrifying. Constantly talking in such a calm manner but giving orders to groups of white supremacists to murder these poor kids. He doesn't actually do much besides the talking, but this doesn't make him less bone-chilling and man does he hit hard with the things he does.

The pacing is great the moment shit hits the fan, and it never lets go. It keeps going and going and refuses to slow down. Each moment of possible hope is immediately batted down as well and your emotions are thrown all the place as you are full of empathy for these characters and you do really want them to find a way out of that hell. I think I would just accept my fate of death at that point though.

The problem with this film is that it was very unclear why what was happening, was happening. It doesn't really explain that properly, and to act that insanely over it too was very surprising. A lot of things aren't fully explained in this admittedly. I think they just wanted to fast-forward to the brutal moments.

This is still a good watch, brutal, but good. If you like feeling stressed out then here's a film definitely for you. I don't think I'll be watching this again any time soon.

"Pat: I can't die here.

Amber: So don't."
