I too freak out when surrounded by noise

Okay, this isn't as bad as everyone makes out. It's not good, but it's not awful. Definitely more funny than anything, and rushed in a few places. That is its main fault being rushed. If they took out maybe the new Green Goblin and the romance plot line with Mary Jane, then it would have had time to focus on Sandman and Venom.

I'll get this out the way now but Mary Jane absolutely sucks in this one. I'm honestly shocked she got worse than the last film. Honestly, she's really bitchy and horrible. Like, she got with Peter after he stressed that he wouldn't always be there for her because he's literally Spiderman, and then she gets mad when he does exactly what he said. Also, she then gets mad at Peter for not knowing anything but doesn't tell him anything like she got fired from her play at got a new job. Mental behaviour.

I'm not sure why but Sam Raimi decided to make this the funniest of the three. It feels like such a joke film, with the perfectly named Bully Maguire, an emo version of Peter Parker. Seeing things like the jazz club dance on the big cinema screen was brilliant because everyone was just laughing at the stupidity of it. Even the lines of dialogue felt like they were trying to make it as stupid as possible.

Sandman and Venom had some good potential if they had more time to shine. Out of the two Venom was really rushed, and it's such a shame because it would have been so cool to watch him and Sandman work together fully. Sandman, I'm not sure if we were supposed to feel bad for him or not, since his story felt all over the place and randomly put in.

Though The Birth of Sandman is such an incredible introduction because it's so beautiful to watch but also in fact they animated every single grain of sand for it. That to me is so impressive. It's a shame we didn't get much time with either of them because we were stuck watching the bitchy Mary Jane.

Being that it was the third film, the CGI could have been a lot better. There were a lot of times it looked really weird and too rubbery. Venom wasn't too bad considering but during some of the action scenes with Spiderman, I found it a little distracting that Spiderman looked kinda off. Going onto his black suit too, I wish we had more moments where it looked more alive because it looked like he just dyed it black.

The main problem with this one is it put way too much into it and then rushed it all. The new Green Goblin had basically zero time on screen, and Gwen was just there to make Mary Jane jealous. It's not awful, but not much compared to the other two.

7/10

"Peter Parker: Oh. Look at little Goblin Junior. Gonna cry?"
