I love this film with every fibre of my being

Yes, I am autistic.

This perfectly captures what it feels like to be socially awkward and a little neurospicy who enjoys her own isolation from the world and people around her. Constantly fleeing any social event she's accidentally walked into at any given chance. Enjoying her work in silence where she doesn't have to interact with anyone can be difficult when your coworkers want to get to know you. Honestly, I loved just how even though she barely spoke, we could see how she felt about things from how she subtly moved or looked at something. Also when we get moments of when she would have thoughts about dying it would drastically cut to something so over the top and dramatic it was funny to have this contrast.

The romance is so adorable, I was bursting at the seams with pure joy watching the two interact and get more comfortable with each other, especially Fran. She slowly take an interest in things and people and just life. It also seems she slowly loses how awkward she comes across with people, let alone Robert who I also fell in love with. Absolute yapper but I would happily listen to him all day. The pair together was so cute, one being more quiet and listening and the other talking and asking questions. Obviously, we get some tough moments when Fran gets frustrated with the bombardment of things and Robert is frustrated that she is so closed off. But this all adds to an adorable romance.

I have no problems with the pacing or the length. It stayed its welcome and never bored me for a second. Sure not everyone is going to love this as realistically nothing much happens when you look at it from the surface expecting it to be super dramatic and full of issues. It's slow and sweet. More importantly, It feels realistic.
