Fred: The Movie (2010)
Genre: Comedy/Family
Time: 1h 16mins
Director: Clay Weiner
Quick Summary: Lovestruck, awkward teen Fred Figglehorn makes desperate attempts to make Judy fall in love with him - while also dodging the mischievous Kevin.
I'm ashamed to admit I found this actually funny. I'm sure why I found it funny, though I will say many jokes are just so stupid you can't help but laugh at them.
Aside from the constant high-pitch screaming, Fred flails about doing any task causing so much havoc and destroying stuff. Then he tries to do absolutely anything and continuously fails at it. Repetitively. At first, you laugh at him, then after he tried four times in a row, It's really painful to watch.
As expected, the acting and dialogue are dreadful. Pixie Lot plays Fred's love interest and boy, you can tell they only got her so she could for a few scenes.
Okay, for the first half of this movie, I did find it stupidly funny. After that I became bored. It seemed to have lost steam as it reaches the climax of the movie and doesn't know where to go. The plot is just so wild and honestly incredibly far-fetched, although what do you expect for a movie like this. Pacing-wise, it flip-flops around by jumping headfirst into different scenarios, locations and events, but then some scenes go on for way too long so you are forced to sit there was listen to Fred screaming.
Pretty braindead with its humour, I don't recommend this unless you're with a group of people looking to make fun of something.
3/10
3? 3??? I bet you can only count to 3. Fred Figglehorn I'd the most accurate teenage character to exist. And it's Pixie Lott. Mongaloid.
ReplyDeleteONLY 3/10?!?!?!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThe Jennette McCurdy foot scene automatically adds +5
And to this other Figgler dude, you meant to put is, not I’d you idiot!!!
