Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred (2011)

Genre: Comedy

Time: 1h 24mins

Director: John Fortenberry

Quick Summary: Fred suspects that his new music teacher is a vampire and sets out to prove his theory.

How I made it through this film I have no idea.

The first one I barely got through granted, it was a bit funny. This one felt like torture to get through. It just wasn't funny and felt more embarrassing to watch.

The characters are some of the most obnoxious and stupid ever, while the writing is lazy, has no heart or charm and is not funny at all. The WWE skit was just cringe. The story is very thin and predictable, nowhere near enough to sustain nearly an hour and a half. Honestly, it feels like they had enough material for a 20-minute video and then stretched it as far as they could for this. As it reaches the halfway mark they just start slapping together random scenes in hopes it fits in, which it doesn't.

The story is basically a silly Halloween tale about vampires. A creepy teacher moves into the neighbourhood, and he acts weirdly, so Fred starts thinking he's a vampire. I do want to repeat this feels like this could have been a good 20 or 30 min Halloween special episode.

I couldn't believe it, but Fred somehow screams more than he did in the first film. This movie is bad. I can't be bothered to write much for this terrible movie. It is not worth your time at all.
