Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 (2011)

Genre: Family/Comedy                       Time: 2 hours                           Director: Alex Zamm

Quick Summary: After marriage, Chloe and Papi, a couple of Chihuahuas, face various parenting challenges while taking care of their five puppies.

The movie is cute but I was really disappointed that they changed out actors like that. And though it really is a heartwarming little movie, it still lacks a lot compared to the first one.

Now, this isn't really that creative in the sense of plot, but it held itself up with its comedic elements. Which additionally suffers from the decision to turn the dogs into secondary comic-relief characters, neglecting their intended audience right from the start.

The script is pretty predictable, but there are several plotlines going on, which might grab little kids' attention and keep them entertained. But I really struggled through it, my attention always somewhere else.

I don't think there is much to say about this film really, it's just kinda mindless entertainment that goes on for too long.
